Andy Taylor reuniting with Duran Duran for The Hall of Fame?

It seems that the announcement the other day, that Duran Duran had been voted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame - was followed by more related news - that original guitarist, Andy Taylor is to return to fold for the induction.

Taylor joined Duran Duran in 1980 as their guitarist, replacing John Taylor (who had started on guitar before switching to bass) and Alan Curtis. He enjoyed two spells with the band, the first lasting through to 1986 and again from 2001 to 2006 (Warren Cuccorullo played guitar in between times).

He was with them for those first three massive albums that broke them into the big time; Duran Duran (1981), Rio (1982) and Seven & The Ragged Tiger (1983), amassing over seven million album sales along the way (not to mention the almost Beatles-like fan adoration they got everywhere they went, for a while).

They won the fan vote for the 2022 induction and join an interesting mix of Eminem, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, The Eurythmics, Pat Benatar and Carly Simon.
