Album reviews are scored from one to ten.

I was contemplating pulling together some kind of complex scoring matrix, but I realised that this really needs to be done on a gut feeling. I will try and give every album at least a few listens, after all, some of the best albums don't always hit you the first time!

There is very little chance of anything ever scoring a 10 - that leaves nowhere to go.

Anything in the 9's means it is exceptional - anything under 5 probably indicates that I won't be rushing to play it again. Anything in between is probably worth some repeated listens - at least to my ears.

Other things (documentaries, books etc.) are just reviewed with no scoring.
